Registration for Session 4 of the 2016-2017 school year is currently open.   Register by Friday, March 19th and receive $5 off per class (prices listed reflect discount). Regular registration will end on Friday, March 24th. Classes will begin on  Monday, March 27th. Don't let your favorite classes fill up. Please email enrichment@encinoelementary.net if you have questions. Thank you for participating in our after-school enrichment program!

Please read these instructions before starting the registration process. 

1. Please choose your classes below, for one child only. You may choose more than one class for your student, but please make sure that they do not occur on the same day. The system will not correct you if you make this mistake.  NOTE:  You can search for classes by day if you enter the day of the week in the Search by field below.

2. To select a class for your child, please enter the quantity "1". Once you've made your selections, click "Continue" and enter all the required information for that child - name, teacher, afterschool program, etc. Please verify that you have entered your contact information carefully, because we will use it if we need to provide you with information about a class in which your child is registered.

3. Proceed to checkout and pay for classes using a credit card.  Do not combine your enrichment purchases with other website purchases.  If you are purchasing classes for more than one child, you must register and pay for each child separately.

Join Mr. Rodriguez and your friends in The Board Game Club. In this exciting new class, kids will play a variety of strategy-based games like King of Tokyo, Timeline, and Get Bit. You won't find your average monopoly or dominoes in this club! Games will be played in an open and friendly environment. A new game will be played each week and there are tons of games to choose from. Come join this exciting class!

Engineering w/LEGO: Ancient Wonders (Monday 2:45-3:45)

Strap in, because this session the Egghead Engineering team is hopping in the time machine and going back in time to build huge engineering marvels! Using LEGOs, students will build awesome ancient creations like aqueducts, huge dams, wells, and giant coliseums. Then, we'll test them with the crush test, the weight test, and all of our other tests to make sure they can stand up to the challenge! At the end of the session, students will receive an Egghead Engineering Degree. Science has never been this cool!

Learn to paint like the masters in this awesome watercolor painting class! Students will learn basic painting techniques, get creative, and develop their own unique, artistic style. Young Ninjas: Dragon Session (Tuesday 1:45-2:45)

Young Ninjas is returning for the Dragon session! The red headband, is reserved for the dragon. Dragons are powerful mythical creatures that soar through the air with immense intensity and energy. A beast that cannot ever be truly tamed, the dragon represents one of the highest levels one can achieve in Young Ninjas. Young Ninjas introduces students to fundamental martial arts elements, like blocks, kicks, strikes, situational awareness, basic self-defense, and the all important KI-YAH! Through non-contact skill training, fun games, creative challenges, and Pad work on foam targets, children develop self-confidence and learn to enjoy being physically active in a non-competitive setting. All Young Ninjas receive an official YNUSA Color Headband to wear during class and a personalized Certificate of Achievement at the end of a completed session. Ki-ya!
